The best restaurant we were in Portugal. Maybe even in Europe. Family owned, with incredibly delicious food and amazing feeling that you are not in a restaurant, but a guest of the family.We came late on Easter evening, they were already almost closed, but they figured we won’t be able to find any restaurant opened in the area because of the holiday, so they decided to invite us anyway so we can have a good dinner. It felt like visiting friends or family. And their Vinho Verde is the best, this wine worths coming to the place :)Thank you guys!P.S. they even gave a special treat to our dogThank you, guys, for this experience

We stopped by here and were told they usually require reservations but their kitchen had enough food to serve us. The meal was roasted goat, had some ham, soup and salad. Total meal for two was 36 EUR. Definitely worth it.

We have recently traveled to Porto and dining at this restaurant has undoubtedly been one of the best experiences. Everything we ate was delicious, grilled beef and also in a casserole, the latter highly recommended, shrimp omelettes, regional cheese... all accompanied by Portuguese wine. And to finish, homemade cake and port wine. But beyond the food, the treatment of the family that runs the restaurant was unbeatable, at all times they made us feel very comfortable, leaving us with an unforgettable memory of our getaway. We hope to return

We came without reservation and they told us that they can serve some steak if we want since they usually only take reservation and cook what you ordered for the reservation.Love the vibe in the tavern, just as the name rustic feel. The steak was great and so the wine.The people working there are very friendly too. Definitely would come back next time with reservation!
